Summer School ENRICHMENT Registration CLOSED

Thank you for your interest in our Summer School Program.  After extending registration for a week, registration for enrichment courses is now CLOSED. 

If your child is from Highlands Intermediate and must take summer school to make-up a credit, please register him/her by Friday, May 24.

Aquaponics, STEM and Algebra Readiness period 2 are nearly filled!!!  Sign up now to save your spot!!!!

ENROLLMENT PERIOD EXTENDED TO 5/17!!!

We are extending enrollment to Friday, May 17!  Please enroll your child as soon as possible as classes are quickly filling!!!!

Updates! 5/6/13

STEM period one has FIVE spaces left.  STEM period two has TWO spaces left! 

Algebra Readiness period two is filling up quickly...only THREE spaces left!  

Aquaponics (period one) is filling up quickly...only THREE spaces left!

7th Grade Math has approximately 5-8 spaces left in periods one and two.

All other courses available:

Period One:  Alg Readiness, Baseball/Softball Conditioning, Fit For Life, Writing Workshop

Period Two:  Mission Possible, Film Study, Fit For Life, Writing Workshop

Book Cooks CLOSED

The Book Cooks class is now CLOSED as all spaces have been filled. 

Film Studies - Period 2 ONLY

The Film Study class has been consolidated to Period 2 only.  Students who were affected by this change were contacted. 

Polynesian Dance CANCELLED

Due to low enrollment, the Polynesian Dance class has been cancelled.  Students who signed up for this class were contacted regarding a schedule change. 

Daily Living Skills CANCELLED

Due to low enrollment, the Daily Living Skills class has been cancelled.  Students who signed up for this class have been contacted about the change. 

STEM Course almost FULL!

Our H.I.S. Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM) course is almost full so sign up soon if you are interested!  Those students who registered on Saturday, April 27 were all placed in the STEM course if it was your first or second choice on your registration form.  Sorry for the confusion! 

LEADERSHIP CAMP CANCELLED

The Leadership Camp class has been cancelled.  If you signed up for this class, you should have been contacted regarding a change in courses. 

Alu Like Summer School Assistance

Alu Like, Inc. does offer assistance for qualified applicants.  If you would like more information regarding this program, please go to www.alulike.org.  You can download the application form and packet at this site.  If you would like a hard copy, please let me know (453-6480 ext 290).

Summer School Registration 2013

Please mark your calendars for our Summer School Registration Day which will take place on Saturday, April 27 from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. in the Highlands Intermediate School Cafeteria.  Students will be placed in classes on a first come, first served basis, so students who register on this day will have priority in registration.

If you are unable to make the Registration Day, please drop off application and payment to the H.I.S. Front Office.

Remember - only CASH, CERTIFIED CHECK or MONEY ORDER will be accepted as payment.  NO personal checks or credit cards accepted.

Registration Day is Saturday, April 27, 2013 in the Highlands Intermediate School Cafeteria from 8:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.  Students who register on this day will have priority in enrollment.

Applications and payments can be submitted to the Highlands Intermediate School Front Office AFTER April 27 for those who missed the Registration Day.
